Introduction

I am a dog enthusiast and animal lover from Middle Finland. I live with my family in Kinkomaa, near Jyväskylä. We have whippets Sofi and Aava, galgo español Lilah and cats Timo and Elma. I passed a breeders basic course on january 2009 and I breed whippet and galgo español in a small scale. The first Milfaro's litter was born in 6.9.2009 and from this litter sweet Aava (Milfaro's AmorAmor)stayed at home. The second litter was born in the spring 2011. As a profession I am a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration of marketing and logistics) and I study evolution genetics in the University of Jyväskylä. I graduated as an animal behaviour trainer from The Finnish Animal Training Center early spring 2009 and I belong to the guild of Animal Behaviour Sciences.

In the beginning of 2000's I got interested in sighthounds for the first time when I became acquainted with a really pleasant whippet gentleman. At first I was interested particularly in whippets, not so much other sighthounds. As the years went by I got to know the breed better. After Kira passed away, it was clear to me that the next dog to move in would be a whippet. So little whippet girl, Besties Juhannusruusu "Sofi", moved home in Midsummer 2006. Sofi has proved to be everything what I waited for - and even more. She is really kind, balanced and courageous by nature.

Little by little my interest in other sighthounds woke. In the summer 2007 I fell for gorgeous galgo español, Kashaya Valiente "Diego", and started to dig information about the breed. I met Diego and his owner Ann Moring in several dog shows and Ann gave me additional information about the breed. I had a preliminary discussion with a certain breeder that I would take a puppy from Norway in 2008. In the early winter of 2007 Ann, however, asked if I would be interested in Diego's planned litter. When the dam was also very pleasing, and a really social one by nature, I didn't hesitate even for a moment. At last, in november 2008, my dream finally come true and Sofi got a friend. A little striped puppy, Royal tramp's La Damas De La Vega "Lilah" flew home. Lilah is an energetic kangaroo and she's Sofi's and Aava's best friend. The girls play together and entertain each other every day :).

The dogs and our other animals are dear members of our family and their welfare is especially important to us. The animals live inside the house with us and they may participate in all the chores we do around the house. We often take the dogs with us to trips and events.
