I took care of Kira since she was a puppy. Her owners lived in the same neighbourhood with our family. I took her to long walks every day and when she moved away with her family, she often stayed with us on weekends. When we had a holiday, I often took her with us to the countryside. When I moved to my first own appartment I couldn't take Kira, because I had to go to abroad to perform my student excange which was part of my studies. Every minute we spent a part was heart breaking. I was devastated always when I had to retourn Kira to her owners. She cried after me every time. When I retourned to Finland from my exchange, I noticed tumours in Kira's chest. The owners hadn't noticed anything and didn't want to pay for the veterinary. Finally, Kira became my own!!

Kira was so well natured that it is difficoult to describe. Kira behaved very well - always. She was extremely friendly to everybody - weather it was a man or an animal. She was very loyal and humble to me and it was really easy to take her to different places. She was calm and always listened to me. She was so incredible, that feels like she was more than a dog. No matter where we were, it seemed like Kira was thinking that here is good to be, as long as mom is here. Though there was a strong bond between us, Kira never for example destroyed anything while being alone in the house. Outside she was seldom on a leash, because she obeyed in every situation.

I could describe Kira for instance with the words kind, soft, open, trustwortly, loyal, curios, firendly. Kira loved squirrels and birds and it was fun to chase them. When she got older, playing with other dogs wasn't so interesting anymore, so she focused on playing with balls and fetching sticks. She was often staring to the trees to find a bird or a squirrel. Kira was absolutely my best friend and I miss her tremendeously every day. Kira was in a really good shape and often people thought that she was still a puppy. Suddenly this outgoing old lady got sick and only a few days later she was galloping in the heaven of dogs. I miss you so much my little friend. The love of my life - rest in peace.
